The original version of Jooble was created in a hostel by two young men who insanely believed in their idea. They just came up with the raw concept and started to implement it in reality. Interestingly, as the platform was ready for its release to a wide audience, the name for it was selected on the last day before the release. Initially, the two planned to call the platform Joogle, after Google. But they have changed their mind at the very last moment. So, this is how Jooble was born.

Six months after the platform launch, Jooble's costs equalled his revenue. However, for the following two years, the company made no money; all finances were depleted. Despite the possibility of making substantially more via outsourcing, Yevhen decided to create Jooble, which paid much less. “We knew if we weren't available on Google, that meant that we were hidden from our target audience,” Prokofiev explains.

The partners researched strategies to get Jooble listed on Google, and when they were on the top, the site's traffic for online vacancies increased fourfold each year.
