The ESOMAR Congress 2024 in Athens was an incredible gathering of the brightest minds in the market research and insights community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved. With over 1,000 delegates from 78 countries, the event buzzed with energy, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas. Across three days of insightful sessions and workshops, 135+ speakers delivered thought-provoking presentations, exploring topics from the potential of AI to the future of human-machine connections.

The Congress kicked off with a series of dynamic workshops led by top industry experts, setting the stage for an inspiring week. One of the early highlights was the Young ESOMAR Society (YES) students, whose passion and enthusiasm breathed new life into the event. They were involved in everything from pitch competitions to workshops, showcasing the next generation of talent.

Sessions spanned a variety of interests, with diverse tracks running simultaneously across multiple stages, ensuring that there was something for everyone.

Networking opportunities abounded, from the Welcome Reception to a fabulous evening event at Gazarte or the magical Tuesday Mediterranean Starlit Soiree. These moments fostered connections that are sure to shape the future of the industry.

The Congress ended on a high note with a remarkable closing keynote focused on AI and its transformative role in our industry. As the curtains drew, the message was clear—this was just the beginning.

A standout initiative with a commitment to sustainability was the silent auction, with all proceeds donated to the Thalassa Foundation and WWF Greece.
